impact report

At Fearne & Rosie we believe that our business should be a force for good.

We are on a mission to help drive healthy change by providing readily available healthier, tastier, happier choices for all.

Since launching in 2019, we have been on a journey to grow our business while helping to make a positive impact on people and the planet.

We are BERRY proud to have been a Certified B Corporation since 2022, achieving a B Impact Score of 93.4.

We are now undergoing our B Corp recertification, giving us the opportunity to reflect on how we have progressed, where we still have work to do and how we can continue to improve our impact as we grow.

GOVERNANCE

A fundamental part of becoming a B Corp is to embed stakeholder governance in decision making and always consider stakeholder interests including employees, suppliers, shareholders, society and the environment.

Our mission lock means that our purpose and the interests of our stakeholders are embedded into the way we make decisions as a business.

This has and always will be our goal and we are delighted to make an official commitment to incorporate this into our Company Articles of Association.

We track and share our social and environmental impact at Board level and with wider stakeholders quarterly.

To make the BERRY best preserves we need the BERRY best people.

HUMAN RIGHTS

We recognise our responsibility to protect human rights throughout our business and supply chain.

Our Ethical Supplier Code of Conduct sets expectations for our suppliers around responsible and ethical working practices. This ensures that products sold by Fearne & Rosie are produced under humane working conditions, with respect for workers, their human rights and that suppliers minimise their impact on the environment.

As part of our B Corp recertification, we are continuing to review our supply chain and the ways we identify, prevent and address potential human rights risks.

COMMUNITY

Making a positive difference in our community has always been an important part of Fearne & Rosie.

Our founder Rachel started Fearne & Rosie after seeing first-hand, as both a parent and a teacher, the importance of engaging children in healthier eating.

We believe education is an important part of creating healthy change, which is why creating accessible educational resources is one of our long term goals and we have created free school resource packs to begin our journey with this.

We are proud partners of FareShare Yorkshire and BBC Children in Need, who we support through financial donations, product donations, fundraising and volunteering.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS AND COLLECTIVE ACTION

We believe positive change is most effective when businesses work together.

We are proud to be part of the B Corp community and to work collaboratively with our charity, retail and business partners to support healthier choices, reduce waste and create positive social impact.

At Fearne & Rosie we have a responsibility to provide healthier choices. Through our retail partnerships and industry conversations, we help to encourage wider change across the food industry. Our founder Rachel also shares Fearne & Rosie’s experience through industry events, talks and articles, including advocating for greater collaboration on sugar reduction and healthier food choices.

Our partnership with FareShare Yorkshire helps us tackle food waste and food insecurity by donating surplus products and volunteering alongside the charity. Since 2020, we donated 8.37 tonnes of product, providing 19,921 meals and supporting 391 charities.

We are a proud partner of BBC Children in Need to help raise funds and awareness for children and young people using our products, partnerships and community.

ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE ACTION

We know that everything we do has an environmental impact and we are committed to understanding and reducing ours as we grow.

We have already implemented sustainable practices to our packaging and operations, including the use of recycled and recyclable materials...

🍓 Our glasses are lightweight and contain 52% recycled content.

🍓 Our SRP is 100% recycled, as is our packaging!

🍓 We have an ethical supplier code of conduct across our supply chain.

🍓 AND we are committed to plastic free deliveries from our website.

We are continuing to understand the climate impact of our business including emissions associated with our operations, products, packaging and supply chain.

As part of our B Corp recertification, we are reviewing our carbon footprint and identifying opportunities to reduce our emissions across our value chain.
